FAQ
Find here the answers to the most frequently asked questions about ActionSportTech, its programs and content.
GENERAL
What is ActionSporTech?
ActionSporTech is a technology ecosystem dedicated to action sports (BMX, skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, MTB, etc.), founded in 2025 by Tony Trancard. It is built on three pillars: a Startup Studio that designs digital products for riders and fans, an Incubator that supports startups in the sector, and a Media Hub (InPulse) that produces content and events. Based in France, it operates under the TNYTR entity (SASU).
Who is ActionSporTech for?
For entrepreneurs and startups in the action sports sector seeking structured support, riders and content creators looking to monetize or grow their activity, brands and event organizers (FISE, FWT, Red Bull, X Games...) seeking innovative digital solutions, and investors and partners interested in SportTech applied to board and urban sports.
STARTUP STUDIO
How does a project enter the Startup Studio?
Two entry paths: external application via our contact form, or internal identification through our market watch. Each project is evaluated on three criteria: a real field need within the action sports ecosystem, identifiable market potential, and a motivated team or complementary co-founder profile. The studio currently develops 5 projects including [VRSVS]* (fan judging), SWRN+ (competition VOD) and UNCORPO (rider merch).
Do you offer co-founding opportunities?
Yes. The Startup Studio actively seeks co-founders for its ongoing projects. As a co-founder, you participate in strategic decisions, product design and go-to-market from the earliest stages. It is an opportunity to experience an entrepreneurial adventure within a passionate ecosystem, with access to the studio's methods and resources.
INCUBATOR
What are the eligibility criteria?
Four main criteria: a clearly identified problem in the action sports sector, a strong connection to this ecosystem (no generalist projects), a product ambition with a long-term vision, and a committed team ready to engage in the program. The journey unfolds in three phases: pre-incubation (validation), incubation (product development), and post-incubation (growth and fundraising).
Are there fees or equity taken?
Financial terms vary depending on the chosen track and project stage. They are detailed and discussed during the admission process, after assessing feasibility and specific needs. Contact us to learn more about the conditions applicable to your situation.
MEDIA HUB
How can I contribute to the Media Hub?
Several ways to contribute: propose an article or analysis for InPulse (our blog on SportTech innovations), suggest a guest or theme for the DropZone podcast, or submit a topic for an AirTime event (webinars, talks, meetups). Use the contact form specifying your proposal and preferred format.
Do you publish an events calendar?
Yes, AirTime events (webinars, conferences, meetups) are announced through our channels: InPulse newsletter, social media and website. Subscribe to the newsletter to stay informed about upcoming sessions and publications.
